My bloggyland friend, Renee, awarded me with “The Spirit of Christmas Award”. Normally I would think “oh, that was sweet”…..but I have to quote what she wrote in her blog about why she is giving this award to me…..

Lori - she has a loving and caring nature that shines through and blesses all that stop by her blog. Her comments on othersâ?? blog are thoughtful and kind. She exemplifies the Spirit of Jesus.

What is the Spirit of Christmas you ask?

Quite simply it is those that have a generous and giving nature. Those who care about others. Those who have a kind word to say or a broad shoulder to lean on in the times that others need that. Those who display the “Spirit of Christmas”.

I’d like to share this in the same manner that Renee shared this with me….the true spirit of Christ. I read many blogs on a weekly basis, and I know that many of them profess Christianity, but there are a couple that stand out as displaying a true spirit of Christ and Christ-likedness.

So, I’d like to pass this award onto:

Elizabeth –for always sharing her heart, and her love for the Lord and striving to always be more Christ-like. She has the true spirit of Christ.

Crystal– Crystal is a young wife and mother, and is already a Titus 2 woman to so many young women/moms. Not just young in age, but also young in some lifeskills, faith, etc. I love visiting Crystal’s blog to see what the Lord has put on her heart to share with her readers! Crystal also shows the true spirit of Christ through her writings!

Renee, dear, thank you so much for awarding me with this! It really meant a lot to me!

I am so blessed to have such great readers!  I have a faithful few that check in on my blog several times per week,  and I am always so excited to see comments from them.   The funny thing is, they are all complete (well, not COMPLETE….because I do read THEIR blogs :)) strangers to me, but I feel so honored when I go and check my site meter data and see those same city and state names popping up, and knowing that they are still checking on me (and I feel certain that they are also praying for me!).   Anyhow, I was given the Community Blogger Award by Renee at 2 Peas in a Pod.
